How did you start?

I graduated from college with a degree in Business Management, and concentrations in Finance and Marketing. I started working with a local State Farm agent shortly thereafter selling property/casualty insurance, and life insurance/annuities. I quickly moved into new roles with companies like New York Life, LPL Financial, CFN and Capital Financial Services before starting my own financial planning and accounting practice in 2017.

What are your hobbies and interests?

My family is the most important thing to me. I’m married with three children and we have lots of adventures together as a family. I love traveling, playing the piano, volunteering in my community and giving to charitable causes. I also enjoy trips to my local gun range with friends and family, and teaching others about gun safety.

What is the most valuable experience you think you can share with someone? 

The most valuable words of advice I can give to any young person is to find something you’re passionate about, figure out how it can make money, and then start working on it. Even in your spare time, even as a “side gig,” but just start working on it. It will either breakthrough into a real business, or provide you with learning opportunities that you can convert into future business ventures. Starting young and early, while you don’t have as much “real world” responsibility is a great advantage.
