Ryan Crotin is a sports scientist and professional strength coach who has worked in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles and most recently, the Los Angeles Angels. His former position as Director of Performance Integration involved using sport science to improve the way the organization treats, trains, coaches and scouts baseball players. Ryan has an interdisciplinary PhD in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics studying fatigue in baseball pitchers and its effect on throwing velocity and shoulder and elbow forces.

She creates and collaborates with dance as futuristic technology for organizing, healing and liberation. Her choreography has been presented by the Painted Bride Art Center, Asian Arts Initiative, and the PGM ONE conference, to name a few. Her commitment to dance and social justice has earned her scholarships to train with CONTRA-TIEMPO, Ananya Dance Theatre, and Urban Bush Women’s Summer Leadership Institute. Alvarez received her early training at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts and earned her BFA in Dance from Temple University.

George Miller is the associate dean for academic affairs at Temple University’s Japan campus. Before moving to Tokyo in 2018, George was a journalism professor and the assistant chair of the journalism department at Temple’s main campus in Philadelphia. He was also the publisher of JUMP, a local music magazine in Philadelphia. He previously was a photojournalist and reporter at the Philadelphia Daily News. He completed his bachelor’s degree in communications at Loyola University and then earned masters degrees from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently working on his doctorate in higher education leadership at Wilmington University in Delaware.
