What do you currently do?  

I am Director of Engineering for Four Seasons. I am the Founder of Jimmy White Speaks LLC – professional speaking/coaching services. I am Founder of Inner City Sustainable Solutions – applying sustainable building practices to urban communities. I am a Minister at the Prophetic Church of Christ. I am an Alumni of Leadership Philadelphia and a GW Bush Center Presidential Center Scholar. I am also a Veteran Mentor with the Travis Manion Foundation and an Inspirational Speaker/Mentor for the Philadelphia Union Youth Foundation

How did you start? 

After my Navy military service as a nuclear electrician on board the submarine USS Montpelier, I started in facilities maintenance as a technician changing light bulbs and filters. I quickly advanced from frontline to senior management by utilizing the leadership and craftsmanship skills I learned from my military career.

What are your hobbies and interests? 

I love to volunteer with youth and veteran organizations. I love reading character & leadership books.

What is the most valuable experience you think you can share with someone? 

In leadership, I have learned from my experience that dictation orders  and demanding are useless unless you find ways to be actively present and managerial accountability.
